ABOUT THE FRIENDS: The Friends of the Dana Point Headlands is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. Our members are a dedicated group actively engaged in preserving the quality of the environment that is the Dana Point Headlands Conservation Area. It is the primary objective of the Friends of the Headlands “to inspire and enhance the conservation of the Headlands and to further educate the public to its importance”.
The Friends hopes to achieve this objective by providing programs that promote our ideals through action and education. We will strive to develop programs that show the importance of preserving natural habitats, not only for the preservation of wildlife, but also for the value it gives back to the community at large.
Our success lies in having enthusiastic and talented people, like you, who are willing to share a little time and effort in helping ensure the future of the Headlands. Please join us in our mission to bring to our neighbors and faraway visitors a place that captures a glimpse that once was the beauty of the Southern California coastline and the opportunity to walk along unspoiled cliffs, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, while enjoying vistas north and south and across the ocean to Santa Catalina Island. Become a member to ensure that our children and their children can come here to explore and enjoy the Dana Point Headlands.
